Ever since a new Subway opened up just down the street from our house, my kids have been asking for that when we need a break from the usual lunchtime PB&Js or mac ‘n’ cheese.
Fast food, to my kids, is no longer defined as burgers and fries. And thank goodness for that. They are perfectly happy with a turkey sub on whole wheat bread, stuffed with spinach, tomatoes, and olives. A much healthier alternative.
I’ve never had a bad meal at Subway. Whether it was a Chicken Teriyaki picked up in Forks, Washington, or a Spicy Italian that filled my famished tummy in Carlisle, England, the taste and quality of their sandwiches has always been consistently satisfying.
The good folks at Subway have graciously offered up a wintertime gift card giveaway for my readers. They want you to warm up with one of their delicious hot sandwiches, like the Big Philly Cheesesteak or the Chicken and Bacon Ranch Melt.
And if the tasty sub isn’t enough to heat you up, they’ve included some very cool, or should I say warm, accessories for me to send along to the winner. A pair of touchscreen glove liners, a pack of instant heat hand warmers, and a Kelty insulated lunch tote.
Quite the fun gift package to help keep winter’s chill away, at least during the lunch hour.
All you have to do to win the $15 Subway Gift Card and the gift package is leave a comment on this post telling me your favorite Subway sandwich.
I’ll pick a winner next week.

I like the black forest ham on wheat.
foot long white w/ grilled chicken, extra white american cheese (yes I know it costs extra) and mayo. Yes, that’s all I want on it. No, I don’t want anything else. I’m a picky eater. Thanks =0)
I’ve never gotten grief or picked on at Subway for my sandwich choice. I do think they could skip charging me the 30c for the extra cheese since I’m saving them toms, cucs, lett and everything else but I’ll gladly pay. I love their sandwiches.
Toasted foot long oven roasted chicken on Monterey Cheddar bread with Pepper Jack cheese, Lettuce, tomato, onion, heavy green pepper and a moderate (not too heavy, not too light) squirt of their Southwest Chipotle sauce.
Dang… You got my mouth watering and it’s not even lunch time!!
Oooh, I have always loved the Spicy Italian with ALLLLL the veggies on it, and mayo and mustard and oil and vinegar and salt and pepper. I like my sandwich dripping with goodness!
I like the cold cut combo! : )
There’s only one Subway Sandwich for us! The Subway Club on wheat with honey mustard and lite mayo. Hold the onions and all peppers. Extra tomatoes and olives. So glad that Subway is always gracious with the special requests to make them just to our liking!!

to tell the truth I don’t know I’ve only had one or two sandwiches from there. But would like to try the Philly Beef one.

I love the Turkey sub with Italian Herbs and Cheese bread, tomatoes, lettuce, pickles, green bell peppers and a little mustard and mayo. Sometimes I get spinach and onions too. If I want to switch it up I have the spicy italian with the same fixings. Their cookies are amazing too!!!!

I have eaten the same Subway sandwich for over 15 years. Foot long Roasted Chicken Breast on Italian bread with no cheese, tomato, lettuce, onion and banana peppers with a dash of salt and pepper.
I am a fan of their Italian sandwich.

Congrats, and thanks to everyone who entered!
I almost always get turkey and swiss on italian bread, with tomatoes, spinach, cucumbers, and green bell peppers. And a small squeeze of light mayo.
I also love it on flatbread, or with the sweet onion sauce. For that matter, the sweet onion sub is great too.
Woooo Hoooooo! Thanks Phil!!!
