Yes, it tasted as good as it looked.
Huckleberries straight out of the Idaho forest.
And right into a huckleberry pie. All credit goes to my wife. The kids and I did a fine job eating it, though.

Yummy! My mouth really watered when I saw that pie! I haven’t really made pies out of my own produce, but I bet it would be totally exciting.
How are they berries this year?? how long will the picking last??
The berries weren’t as good as in year’s past. We picked last week, and I think it will probably be pretty thin up there right now.
So where was the area you found them? I was up to Sagehen area on the 10th and all I saw was little green bb size ball. Last year was an awesome year. I was picking off and on from the 1st of August to the end of September.
