My husband will be recovering from Vertigo, hopefully not in the ER as we’ve been there already this week. Hopefully our kids will be quiet and well behaved.

Perhaps their mother should see someone about the delusional thought she just had.

At any rate, Happy Father’s Day to all you awesome dads out there!!!

First I will head to the cemetery as my Dad passed in October of last year. Then I will be spending the day at the park with my wife and kids, then off for a nice dinner somewhere. Hopefully the weather will cooperate. Of course this could all change if my 8 year old tournament baseball team advances which means I would be spending my day at the ballpark eating hotdogs and peanuts but without beer…….. Happy Father’s Day to all this year

Okay I’m not in the US right now and I can’t join the contest but I’m still leaving a comment because I love your blog. Lol.

On Father’s Day, my husband and I will be going spelunking (exploring a cave) in the Philippines! I hope that there won’t be so many bats because I don’t want to accidentally hurt one when it gets caught in my hair! Lol

We’re going to church and out to dinner. On Mother’s Day we went to a baseball game, but unfortunately I can’t pull off something that cool.

Will be spending Father’s Day at a kid centered amusement park with my wife and son. Should be a lot of fun.

Happy Father’s Day Phil.

This is proving to be an odd Father’s Day for me. I need some serious study time for an upcoming exam and the wife is on her 3 week summer break. So for Father’s Day my kids and wife are a couple of hundred miles away, visiting Grandma.

I was feeling a little odd about this arrangement, even if it was convenient for us all until I talked to a buddy of mine who is active military. His oldest child is almost 4 and this will be the first time my buddy is home, with his own kids, for Father’s Day.

A little perspective shows me that having the fam a few hundred miles away is a whole lot better than dad being in Iraq for several years in a row.

My husband, James, is a TV news junkie. So he will be catching up on all the news. I will be sitting beside him, listening and doing counted cross-stitch.

Well, first of all HAPPY FATHERS DAY PHIL……hope you had a good one……

And, as I have to be a father figure as well as a mum to my 4 sons, Im entering this competition…… cos I am all me lads have… Im the one that has to drag cars out of ditches late at night when they have crashed the sharp bend, im the one that has had to explain the pitfalls of rejection from girlfriends, teach them to shave, talk about boys problems, rough and tumble with them, build dens in the woods, have snowball fights.. help with homework, be there every step of the way on me own…… so today I wore me DAD HAT…. and we ALL went up our new allotment and got so much done, me lads to save me legs took 3 wheelbarrows and walked the 1/4 mile to fill them up with manure from the poo pile down the track, they dug over the raised beds that my Jacob has just built and together we all laffed and worked and laffed and talked and enjoyed just being with each other, including Sammie one of me lads girlfriends :)

so….. Im here to enter and I know if per chance I should win, I know I would not be able to get the prize so I would dedicate the winnings to Toadie…

It dont say no where that dad substitutes cant enter :)

OXO

14 of us gathered for a pool/BBQ party celebrating 5 dads in three generations. Reading is a love passed from dads to sons – the books will be well shared among the group.

Hope you had a wonderful Father’s Day at your house.

Happy Father’s Day Phil. It’s been awhile, but I did see you and your kids on Sherman last week and said ‘hi’. Hope all has been well. The Stickman
